The Black Course at Bethpage State Park won't close for final preparations for The Barclays until Monday, August 6, but the park has already started to cut down on available tee times as the tournament looms less than a month away. From now until the course's closing early next month, golfers have until 3 p.m.
With The Barclays teeing off at Bethpage Black next month, plenty of guests — many with golf bags in hand — will soon be arriving on Long Island on top of the area's typical crop of summer travelers and tourists.
