The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announced Wednesday that all state parks on Long Island are closed until further notice.   Golfers wondering when they can play at affected state-park courses, which include Bethpage, Montauk Downs and Sunken Meadow, should visit the NYS Parks website or check back here at

Voting is open for “Best Golf Course” in annual Long Island Press poll
