Golf fans will have a second chance to land tickets to the previously sold-out U.S. Open at Bethpage Black, now that the USGA has decided to make unsold corporate tickets available to the public in June.
From Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14, tickets to the practice and championship rounds will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the Bethpage will-call windows from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Championship week begins the following day with practice rounds from Monday to Wednesday, before tournament play opens on Thursday, June 18. Grounds passes are $40 for each practice round, $100 for each championship round. The tournament concludes on Sunday, June 21.
According to Newsday, as many as 1,500 additional tickets may be available each day during Open week. For more information, visit USOpen.com.
