The Red Course at Eisenhower Park will open for the 2012 season this Friday, March 16. If the 70-degree weather lures you to the park before then, you can play the Blue and White courses. Both have been open all winter.
The historic Devereux Emmet design in East Meadow is the star attraction at Eisenhower Park's golf complex. Originally the #4 course at the long-gone Salisbury Golf Club, it hosted the PGA Championship in 1926 and, more recently, the Champions Tour's Commerce Bank Championship.
