If you can't land a tee time anywhere on this first official weekend of the summer, you can at least let your little one take the clubs out for a spin.
Spring Lake Golf Club in Middle Island is hosting its first junior SNAG (Starting New At Golf) clinic of the season on Saturday, June 25 at 11 a.m. The 45-minute clinic is led by Cristy Jurgens, director of golf and teaching pro at the 27-hole facility. SNAG is a comprehensive system that simplifies golf instruction for kids and eases their transition into the sport through fun games and equipment.
This weekend's SNAG clinic is open to kids age 4 to 6 and costs $20 per child. For more information or to register for the program, call (631) 924-5115.
