Bethpage Black will host The Barclays tournament from Thursday, August 25 to Sunday, August 28, but local golfers will be affected as early as August 8. That's the day Bethpage Black will close to the public in preparation for the event, which will bring some of the world's most famous golfers to Long Island for the FedEx Cup playoffs.
The Black Course will close on August 8 and remain out of regular operation through September 2. Meanwhile, Bethpage's other four courses, as well as the driving range, pro shop and restaurant, will all close on Saturday, August 20 and reopen on September 1.
