There are plenty of places to dine while taking in an East End sunset, but few include 18 holes and an open bar. One of them is the Links Course at Cherry Creek in Riverhead, which will host a Sunset Golf shotgun outing on Friday, July 15.
The special includes a full round on the Links — home of Long Island's only par-6 — followed by a buffet dinner and a two-hour open bar with views of the sun setting over Riverhead farmland. Shotgun start is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Entry fee is $79 per player.
