Veterans Day golfers can pick up a second round for free if they tee it up at Mill Pond Golf Course on this year's November holiday.
The Medford course is once again offering a special in which Veterans Day rounds — that's Friday, November 10 — will include a "Comeback Coupon" that entitles players to a free follow-up greens fee anytime through April 27, 2018. The coupon can be used for any weekday rounds of equal or lesser value. Cart and reservation fees are not included. (Golfers must also be on Mill Pond's e-mail list to receive the coupon.)
Offseason rates are in effect at Mill Pond. Eighteen-hole fees with cart range from $36 to $53, and Town of Brookhaven residents can walk 18 for as little as $25.
