In an effort to boost awareness of its waterside municipal golf course often overlooked by its ritzy private counterparts on Nassau's north shore, the City of Glen Cove recently launched a television ad for the Glen Cove Golf Club.
The 30-second ad features aerial footage of the course along with an appearance from Glen Cove native and Deepdale Golf Club pro Darrell Kestner. It began airing last week and will appear on local Optimum and Verizon FIOS stations.
