The Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course in Woodbury will host the 20th annual Massapequa High Schools Hall of Fame/Herbert J. Pluschau Memorial Golf Outing on Monday, August 3. The outing also includes an induction dinner and ceremony celebrating alumni from Massapequa and Berner High Schools. Proceeds from the event help support the Hall of Fame Induction Program, high school scholarship programs and school and community organization grant programs.
Breakfast and registration precede the shotgun start, which is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Post-round cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m., followed by buffet dinner and the Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Oyster Bay is a Tom Fazio-designed municipal course with a tight, tree-lined front nine. Its signature hole is the par-4 fourth, featuring a fairway that rises more than 50 feet to a three-tiered green.
