Spring Lake to host “Girls Golf Day” on July 17

For the second straight year, Spring Lake Golf Club and golf director Cristy Jurgens will host LPGA-USGA Girls Golf Day, an event designed to build interest in the sport and make it accessible to young girls.  This year's Girls Golf Day is scheduled for Friday, July 17.

Gg15-web-bannerGirls Golf Day at Spring Lake is open to girls age 7 to 15 who want to learn how to play or improve their skills.  The day will include fun methods of golf instruction, activities and on-course play, all with the "five Es" of Girls Golf — empower, enrich, engage, energize and exercise — in mind.  Lunch and complimentary gifts are also included.  Cost is $60 per child.

For more information on the event, contact Cristy Jurgens at (631) 924-5115, or visit www.GirlsGolf.org.
