This year's Knights of Columbus Council #5817 Charity Golf Outing will tee off at Rock Hill Golf & Country Club in Manorville on Monday, June 9 in support of Island Harvest, the Lieutenant Michael O'Shea Memorial Service Award Fund and the Sergeant Jonathan Keller Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Registration fee is $150 per golfer. Sign-in and buffet breakfast begin at 7:00 a.m. with a shotgun start to follow at 8:00. Barbecue lunch and on-course beverages are included, as well as a post-golf cocktail hour and dinner with raffles, auctions, prizes and giveaways. Island Harvest is Long Island's largest hunger relief organization, collecting surplus food from more than 800 area restaurants, farms and food-related businesses and distributing it to those in need via soup kitchens, food pantries and other outlets.
