IMG_4915The break-in occurred around 6:00 a.m. Saturday, according to Newsday.  Several motor carts were removed from a storage area and driven around the course, causing approximately $75,000 worth of damage to the vehicles and course grounds.  The Nassau County Police Department is working to identify the vandals.  Anyone with information regarding the damage should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-8477.

The Golf Club at Middle Bay — briefly known as South Bay Country Club in 2013 after decades as the private Middle Bay Country Club — is scheduled to open its 2014 season this weekend.  For more information on the course's reopening, click here.
