Players who love to wield their wedges might want to save the following date. Registration is currently open for the annual Robert Moses
Pitch-and-Putt Tournament, set to tee off at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17 at Robert Moses State
Park in Babylon. The first 120 registrants will be accepted.
Entry fee for the outing is $40 and includes a golf shirt,
ball, continental breakfast and lunch buffet. Awards and prizes will be given for various
feats, including low individual and team scores. Rain date is Wednesday, July 24.
The
18-hole pitch-and-putt course at Robert Moses State Park is located at the west end of the park
