The Black Course at Bethpage State Park will reopen for the 2013 season on Saturday, April 13, according to park information. As usual, the Red Course will get a two-week headstart on the Black. It will open for play on Friday, March 29.
Both courses closed earlier than usual in 2012 due to the effects of Hurricane Sandy. The Red Course lost a significant number of trees during the storm.
