Timber Point is a 27-hole facility next to Heckscher State Park in Great River. Its Blue Course plays along Great South Bay and offers a magnificent view across the water to Fire Island. The Blue's bayside "Gibraltar" hole (pictured) is one of Long Island's toughest and most picturesque par-3s.
