The Spring Lake Golf Club in Middle Island will host a Turkey Day outing on Thursday, November 25 for those golfers who want to loosen up their arms and legs before they loosen up their belt buckles for a holiday feast.
Shotgun start for the outing is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. The $65 entry fee includes 18 holes, cart, hot breakfast buffet before the round and a drink at the turn. Sign up at the pro shop by November 17 or call (631) 924-5115.
Spring Lake is the home of the 18-hole Thunderbird course and the nine-hole Sandpiper. Both courses have a natural feel with trees bordering all holes.
