Beginning this Saturday, October 30, rates at one of Long Island's newest and most pristine public courses will drop like falling pine needles. Golfers can play the Pine Ridge Golf Club in Coram for as low as $30, with cart included, thanks to "winter" twilight rates that kick in at noon every day.
The $30 twilight rate is valid Monday through Friday. After noon on weekends, it costs $35 to play. The regular rate for a round at Pine Ridge under the new offseason schedule is $45 on weekdays, $50 on weekends.
Pine Ridge is a challenging, tree-lined par-70 that opened for business in 2006 under the management of Billy Casper Golf. Its natural, rustic setting includes a grueling stretch of back-nine par-4s and par-5s.
