Public Shotguns at Lido Golf Club

The Knights of Columbus work tirelessly throughout the year to assist the community outreach programs of Holy Innocents Council in Levittown and are seeking the support of area golfers looking to participate in their annual golf tournament.  The 28th annual Bill Cascarella Golf Classic will take place on Thursday, June 24 at Eisenhower Park's Blue Course.  All proceeds from the tournament will go to the Knights of Columbus and their charitable efforts in the community.

Entry fee for the tournament is $120 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, prizes, dinner and a three-hour open bar immediately following the round at the Knights of Columbus hall.  According to tournament organizers, raffle prizes in past years have included Mets and Yankees tickets, golf equipment, gift baskets and other goodies.

Check-in for the outing begins at 6:30 a.m. with shotgun start to follow at 7:30.

To register, or to sign up as a sponsor, contact Joanie at joancascarella@gmail.com.  All fees must be submitted by May 24.

Eisenhower Blue is a Robert Trent Jones design in the heart of Nassau County.  It is a 6,026-yard par-72 with wide, flat fairways that make the course popular with beginners and seniors.  Most holes feature fairway bunkers and elevated greens.
