Winter rates in effect at Pine Ridge GC

CrabLogo So often the rules of golf get in the way of a great score.  Think how much more enjoyable a round would be if rules didn't need to be followed!

Well, the Crab Meadow Golf Course is providing the opportunity with a Halloween Trick-or-Treat Scramble in which "USGA rules will not apply."  Head to Northport on Friday, October 30 and take part in a laid-back event designed for fun.  So leave your game face at home and bring your most creative holiday costume to the course — the best one plays for free!  When better to go pink and turquoise like Ian Poulter?

IMG_1341 Entry into the scramble is $65 per person and includes cart, range balls, prizes, food at the turn, a post-tourney happy hour and a variety of "tricks and treats."  Shotgun start is scheduled for 12 noon.

Crab Meadow is a scenic and hilly course near the Long Island Sound in
Northport.  Its 481-yard par-5 eighth, highlighted by a pond that must
be carried to reach the green, was selected as part of Newsday's Dream 18.  The course was also named one of the best public courses on the Island by readers of the Long Island Press.
