Autumn golf is upon us, and the Brentwood and Holbrook
Country Clubs are celebrating the cooling weather and falling leaves with their final green fee specials of the 2009 season. The two Town of Islip courses are offering Long Island golfers a fall discount that will run up until the final putt of the year on December 13.
For $160 a group of four can play either Brentwood or Holbrook with
carts and reservation fees included. If you don't have a full foursome, a round with all fees still costs only $42 per golfer. Just make a reservation online and present a printed coupon at check-in. The deal is valid after 11:00 a.m. six days a week (excluding
Mondays at Brentwood and Tuesdays at Holbrook). Full terms can be found in the "Specials and Coupons" section of the course websites.
Brentwood and Holbrook are also part of Golfing Magazine's free golf program,
and there is still time to sign up. For $49, registered players
receive a certificate good for one round of golf at nine Long Island
courses plus a one-year subscription to Golfing Magazine. The certificate is valid through December 31, so get moving if you want to take advantage of the rates and current course conditions. Golfers are
only responsible for cart fees on the day of play.
